L.J. Samuel

L.J. Samuel holds a doctorate in criminology and has more than a decade of experience working in a major metropolitan police department and consulted with numerous police agencies across the country in the development of a formalized tracking system for the identification and management of police misconduct. 

Dr. Samuel has a passion for people and volunteers with Columbia Lighthouse for the Blind and is an active member of her church. Dr. Samuel is a fitness buff and CrossFit enthusiast. In her spare time when she isn't writing, she is at the gym lifting weights or training for competition.

Dr. Samuel lives in Washington, DC with her Toy Fox Terrier, Shoe.
